I’m a Resident Assistant and an Orientation Counselor.
My daily life at college is about 95% more hectic than that of a student simply taking 12 hours.
And I have a part time job.
ANYWAYS.
It’s been about two weeks ,plus some, since my “journey” has started and im happy to say that after weighing in at two weeks I lost 8 POUNDS!! Which made me feel awesome. Just gotta keep it up :]
I still need to buy a scale though. blah, no monies.
That’s all for now!
So, No update from yesterday, I meant to but I’m currently in training for my job at the university I attend and my days have been hectic. I can definitely tell that my normal hectic life is starting back and my relaxed Christmas break is ending.
BUT. Big news, I talked with a friend of mine who has a trainer (and it’s a trainer that like half the people on my staff swear by) and she called her trainer and so it’s pretty much been set that I will have the same one. I’m pumped and can’t wait to start back!!
My food choices couldn’t be easier right now. I live in a dorm so it’s pretty hard to cook all my meals but I have lean cuisines, deli turkey, and some frozen chicken breasts that my mom cooked for me to choose from as well as per-proportioned snacks to choose from. I’ve managed to stay just under my calorie and fat intake goals for each day which I’m stoked about!
I have no idea if I’ve made any progress as far as any weight lost because I do not own a scale, but as soon as my refund check comes in, that’s the first thing I’m buying!
That’s about all. I’m out.
woke up, ate breakfast, went to work, got home, worked out, showered, ate dinner, and cleaned.
very productive.
EDIT: no matter what the circumstance, whenever i read the phrase “good day” i always read it in a British accent and imagine myself tipping a top hate. weird.
Ouch. My thighs have not felt this way in a while and I’m hurting in places I didn’t know could hurt. Cardio kickboxing video ftw. I’m doing one of these per night. I still have yet to hear back from the fitness coordinator, but then again school doesn’t technically start till next week so that could be why. Oh well, my video workouts will have to do for now! My muscles may be burning but it feels awesome.
So I’m doing the same thing as almost every other American. I’m waiting until tomorrow to really kick off this whole thing. I just emailed the fitness coordinator at my university and asked her to set me up with a personal trainer. I have a year till I graduate and until then trainers are free (well minus the small amount paid in my tuition) for all students. I decided to take advantage of that while I still could and also while I’m in the mindset to do so. That was something I’ve wanted to do for a while but I never had the follow thru to actually send the email, but I felt great once I hit the send button. One step closer to starting my journey off right! I can’t wait to here back from her :]
